Site specific artworks exploring reflection, refuge, reconnection

Humphrey explores the intersection between built form and environments. Based in the traditions of site-specific environmental land art and conceptual art, Humphrey’s work has been exhibited internationally and recognised with multiple awards. She increasingly focuses on the twin climate and biodiversity crises in examining our relationship to the natural world, and the potential for climate advocacy through art. Her work explores themes of reflection, refuge and a reconnection with “nature”, through an exploration of singular materials, patterns and spatial interventions in the landscape. This climate-conscious art practice is complemented by her sustainable architecture practice Studio Ecology.
